A Review of 2025

The Year of Courage, Justice & New Beginnings

As we look back on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for every supporter, donor, team member, and advocate who helped us care for girls who have survived human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Below is a snapshot of the impact you helped create.

Throughout this year we had 10 cases move through the courts with only one showing signs of possible corruption—an encouraging sign of progress in Cambodia’s justice system.

However, not all of these court case went to trial 3 cases were settled through mediation. Two girls were satisfied with this process and the remuneration they received, while the other girl struggled with her family making the decision for her and losing her opportunity to testify in court.

Your support empowers survivors to stand strong and pursue justice with dignity.

Education remained at the heart of transformation in 2025.

  • 8 girls attended school, and every one of them passed their exams.

  • 5 girls started at new schools, finding fresh hope in new environments.

  • 7 girls continued vocational training, building practical skills for future independence.

These achievements represent far more than classes and crafts; they are steps toward confidence, healing, and opportunities.

A safe home means dignity, health, and hope. This year we were able to make that a reality for Srey Oun’s* family.

We also secured funds for a new bathroom for Romdoul’s family*. Construction has been delayed due to the growing conflict on the Thai/Cambodian border. The family have been evacuated to a camp for displaced people. Local authorities will let us know when it is safe for the family to return and for construction to start. We are hoping to complete the bathroom build in 2026.

Thank you to every donor and volunteer builder who made these life-changing improvements possible.

This year we welcomed two new girls, each beginning a new chapter of safety and restoration. Read their stories and find out how you have been a part of changing their lives in 2025.

Sponsorships make these journeys possible, providing counselling, education, nutrition, and a safe place to dream.

2025 also brought deep hardships for many of the girls and their families.

We walked with them through:

  • the tragic passing of fathers,

  • mothers requiring urgent medical intervention,

  • parents losing income due to flooding or job loss,

  • displacement caused by border conflict,

  • and a number of girls struggling with mental health challenges, responding with self-harm or damaging behaviours.

Thanks to your support, our counsellors, social workers, and staff were able to provide immediate care, emotional support, and practical assistance in these critical moments.

Your generosity made every one of these stories possible.
As we step into 2026, we carry hope; hope built on the courage of survivors, the dedication of our team, and the unwavering support of people like you.

Thank you for continuing to help us make it right.
