You don’t need qualifications to help - we’ll train you! We are looking for people that can draw from their own life experiences to help others on the same journey.
SPONSOR SOMEONE TO CHANGE THEIR LIFE
We provide an array of support to individuals, including (but not limited to) emergency food hampers, mentoring, support groups and hygiene and gift hampers. We know that it’s so important to care for these individuals who may not have other sources of support, and we also know that it takes time and money for us to be able to do so.
If you want to support the community, but can’t physically give your time, you can sponsor someone to change their life. See just some of the ways that your money can help:
$40 provides an emergency food hamper
$200 supports a mentor for one year
$20 provides a hamper of gifts and essentials to go to people in hospital, or that find themselves in hard situations such as homelessness or domestic violence
$50 enrols them in a support group to help them deal with their situation
PaY IT Forward And Help someone in need
A great way to help out the community is by purchasing a PAY IT FORWARD CARD for $10 to go towards our emergency hampers . We get referrals through phone calls to Community care, as well as social workers, school chaplains and the police to help out individuals and families in dire situations often with no food, in financial distress or women needing to start again after escaping domestic violence.
After we have used the donation we call you to let you know the situation you have been able to assist with.
