New SHE Project
Our newest project has launched!
One of the greatest risks to being trafficked is lack of education, or having a safe place to live while obtaining an education. Our newest project, SHE Transition Home, is a semi-independent safe haven for girls 16+ who are in need of greater opportunities to build for their future.
In dormitory-style, supervised accommodations, our SHE Transition Home will offer a place for girls to live independently— handling their own cooking, washing, and schedule. The home is established for girls who have come through our SHE Rescue Home and/or girls who are at-risk who need a safe place to stay in the city while they attend school or work, and so that young girls may be set up for success.
This transition home will afford girls the chance to be properly resourced to receive education and vocational training they wouldn’t otherwise have access to in far away provinces, due to geographical and financial barriers. The SHE Transition Home is a safe place where vulnerabilities will be replaced with opportunities for hope, and girls will have room to grow into healthy, self-sustaining women!
We're just about ready to open the doors to this home and we couldn't be more excited - we're making history!
