Our projects exist to restore, educate, equip, and provide hope to the oppressed, the trafficked, the vulnerable, the impoverished, and the at-risk.
Because people MATTER!
our Projects
Childhood is supposed to be a time for fun, exploration and learning. Yet almost 1 in every 200 children are living in modern slavery. When our founder Leigh Ramsey visited Cambodia she met young children, little girls who were being sold into sex trafficking. She said ‘IT’S NOT OK’. Within a year our SHE Rescue Home opened a safe haven in Cambodia for girls aged 5 - 16 years who have been trafficked or sexually exploited. Since then we have opened several projects to change the lives of girls rescued from human trafficking and sexual exploitation and helping them lead thriving lives.
Our administration office has been in Brisbane, Australia since the beginning. Seeing the impact we have in Cambodia, we wanted to support our local community in a similar way. We developed a Community Care project to bring hope and practical support to those needing assistance from all backgrounds and circumstances. Our heart is to see lives changed, families strengthened and our communities transformed. We specifically focus on Crisis Care, Community Engagement, and Community Education outworked through a range of programs and initiatives such as our Marketplace and Love Army.
Every new mum should be celebrated. Sadly, this isn’t always the case. Some do it really tough – with no support, no resource and not a lot of hope. And that’s not ok. Every sister needs a cheer squad, so we’re linking arms with our local maternity hospitals in Australia with gorgeous packs to get these mums started – packs of clothes, hygiene products and nappies.
No one should go without at Christmas. As the cost of living rises, the festive table gets further from reach for many in our community. Each year Citipointe Community Care partners with Seasons IGA to provide 2500 Christmas Hampers to those across the Greater Brisbane region doing it tough and we need your help!
Each hamper is filled with food for a family of 4 on Christmas Day, including: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. By donating to the Christmas Hamper appeal, you can bring hope to those who need it most. By donating, you can give the gift of celebration to someone in need.
We exist that together we may see INDIVIDUALS of all ages healed, loved, and empowered to be self-sustaining change-makers for themselves, their families, and generations to come.
