COmmunity garden

Koinonia. A Greek word meaning to be drawn together by participation, fellowship or a gift that is jointly contributed.

The Community Garden is a project run by volunteers from the community, for the community.

The Community Garden is an initiative of Community Care Brisbane. It exists for the purpose of encouraging sustainable living habits, building community involvement and benefitting the environment. Community gardens provide a wealth of sustainable benefits including social, economic and environmental benefits.

We aim to educate and provide fresh food to the locals that tend to it, and those in the community that are struggling as well.

Get Involved

As a member, you get all the benefits of enjoying the garden, plus you can take home a share of organic locally grown produce fresh from the gardens! All whilst knowing you are contributing to a community garden that promotes fellowship and sustainability.
